Mr. William Florman is the President, Co-Founder & Senior Partner of International Industrial Partners. He is an International Business professional with over 30 years of management and ownership experience in mining, metals, technology and real estate in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
William has been an entrepreneur for most of his career. Mr. Florman has managed, owned and sold 5 large mines in the US. He founded his first business while attending college (BS Finance) as co-founder of a trading portal for non-ferrous metals that created a market to facilitate trades between producers and customers with Goldman Sachs providing financing for transactions. Mr. Florman is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Extrakt Process Solutions, Founder of RF Group Companies, Founder of Test Design Implement Solutions, a global lab provider, and Partner, Co-Founder International Industrial Partners limited in Abu Dahbi and Co-founder in NEZ Industrial Partners in KSA.
Calvin W. Schmidt is a globally recognized business leader, investor, and board director with more than 36 years of experience leading and advising multibillion-dollar enterprises across healthcare, consumer goods, energy, and advanced industrial technologies.
Mr. Schmidt’s career spans 15 years in senior leadership roles at Mars, Incorporated, followed by over two decades as a global executive at Johnson & Johnson, where he held multiple C-suite–level and enterprise leadership positions. During his tenure at J&J, he played a central role in shaping corporate strategy, guiding large-scale international operations, and directing public policy and external affairs across highly regulated markets in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Throughout his career, Mr. Schmidt has been known for operating at the intersection of strategy, governance, capital formation, and public-private engagement, with a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments, build durable partnerships, and scale businesses globally. He currently serves on corporate boards and advisory committees and is actively involved in developing and investing in next-generation industrial, energy, and technology platforms through International Industrial Partners.
John C. Talbott has practiced law since 1994, largely in the area of commercial development. He began his career working for one of the largest law firms in Kentucky and is a founding member of Bardenwerper Talbott & Roberts, PLLC, where he currently practices. While in law school, he was an editor of the “Journal of Law and Education.” He has practiced before both state and the federal courts, as well as state administrative agencies. He has been on several boards, and recently was awarded Associate of the Year by the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville.
Daniel Olsen is a senior energy executive with 40+ years of experience leading global, capital-intensive businesses. He brings over 20 years of P&L accountability and a strong track record of driving operational performance, capital discipline, and shareholder value. Daniel has led M&A transactions exceeding $6 billion and overseen complex post-merger integrations, providing deep expertise in strategy, risk oversight, and governance. He also spent 15 years leading technical development and licensing, bridging innovation with commercial execution. His career includes leadership roles at Shell, Bechtel, and Enterprise. He holds a advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering and business leadership education.
Dr. Peluso brings over 20 years of experience in process engineering and technology development, beginning with a long tenure at PDVSA where he contributed to the advancement and scale-up of Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) technology, including pilot plant design and catalyst development.
He co-founded TechSerA Solutions in Calgary, focusing on innovative heavy oil upgrading methods, and later joined Ausenco, where he supported projects from conceptual design through detailed engineering, including SAGD and pilot programs, with responsibilities in process optimization, risk analysis, and operational design.
More recently, with Bantrel, he has led efforts in pilot plant optimization and deployment of new technologies for oil sands extraction.
Currently, he is focused on advancing innovative technologies in the mining sector, leveraging his expertise in laboratory testing, pilot plant operations, and technology scale-up to support integration within Extrakt’s portfolio.
